The deal
Liberty Service Partners, a residential home services company based in Addison, Texas, and backed by NorthCurrent Partners, has added DB's Plumbing and Drain of Woodbridge, Va. Terms were not disclosed.
DB's was founded in 2008 by David and Jennifer Buky. According to the announcement, the Bukys and their team will continue serving homeowners in Woodbridge, Prince William County and the surrounding Northern Virginia and D.C. region.
The deal comes six weeks after Liberty entered the Mid-Atlantic with HVAC & Plumbing Unlimited in nearby Lorton, and its service area overlaps.
This is the add-on that follows an anchor. Liberty bought an HVAC and plumbing company in Lorton, then a dedicated plumber next door. The announcement led with the company's 4.9-star reputation. Reviews are now a selling point in M&A, because they show buyers how the business treats customers.
